Port Willunga Fine Foods picks in-season and processes by hand.
Feijoa paste, limes pickled, strawberry guava paste, native lime sea salt with saltbush & rosemary; almond dukkah with native wattle seed; native bush apple condiment; incredible culinary curiosities that sing the praises of our land with each and every bite.
Oh, and toffee, chocolate and yoghurt chocolate covering roast almonds, sundried apple and plump apricots!
We source from many regions that South Australia has to offer, and consider ourselves very lucky to be able to pick from the best.

In late 2017, we planted our very own Urban Orchard! This space hosts a collection of young guava trees, Indian guava, feijoa (pineapple) guava, strawberry guava, and the beautiful quince tree thrown in for good measure.
We adopt permaculture principles to produce healthy- and we hope, abundant - amounts of fruit. As our trees grow we will be able to source more guava from our very own front yard.
Our year is guided by the seasons:
Jan, Feb, March
Late February early March we pick grapes for wine conserves, Pinot, Merlot and Grenache. A great team building exercise where we laugh and pick amongst the vines sharing local news with our growers.
Apr, May, June
Guavas to pick and process, limes to pick and pickle. Its always an occasion to travel into the regions choosing where we will have lunch and enjoy the repartee regarding who has the best local Schniti !
July - Dec
Christmas is upon us, we begin packing and packaging.
Packaging
Port Willunga Fine Foods is moving from plastic. We are committed to recycle, reuse and compostable materials by the year 2025. At present we are moving our plastic tub products to glass jars. Our boxes are compostable, however we require an upgrade to our poly window and poly bags inside.
Cello bags are permeable and therefore not an option for our food products. We are hopeful that a solution will be available in the future.
